Eating on the go

Traveling and being on a diet just don't mix. Especially when you're stuck in an airport/plane for 15 hours. I know that there are some healthy options out there, but for the most part, everything is calorie packed and sodium laden.

We tried to come prepared with sandwiches, fruit and veggies, but sometimes boredom wins out and you just need to snack. Luckily, the airplane had these delish snack boxes filled with hummus, pita chips, crackers, cheese spread and some chocolate covered blueberries. Tasty and not terrible on the weight watchers scale (I split it with the momma).

I tried to take the stairs instead of the escalator and tried to walk around as much as possible, but I know I'm not going to break even in the calories consumed versus calories burned department today. I'll make up for it with a early morning hike tomorrow!
